    Welcome to my homepage. I joined the history faculty at Spring Hill in 2007 after spending six years teaching at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Mo. I had previously lived in Mobile where I taught at the Alabama School of Math and Science, and was an adjunct professor at both the University of South Alabama and Spring Hill College.
    My main scholarly interest is the American South, with a particular focus on the African-American expereince, and I teach a number of courses at Spring Hill in American History, including: The Making of Modern America, The World Wars and the Great Depression, American Women’s History, African-American History, and The American South.
