Jack, dressed differently, is jogging more easily and confidently.

EXT SAME TRACK DAY

Jack, again dressed differently, is running at a very brisk pace, arms and legs in sync with his unlabored breathing.

EXT CITY STREET EARLY MORNING

Jack, in shorts with a large # tag pinned on his chest, is among several other similarly clad runners stretching, jogging in place, etc.

EXT DIFFERENT CITY STREET LATER

Jack is among the leaders, only 2 people ahead of him as he looks determined and makes a quick move passing them both.

EXT FINISH LINE ON A STREET LATER

Jack bursts through the stretched out tape, a few feet ahead of his closest competitors. He is mobbed as he nearly collapses.
