WHITE PANCHROMATIC
NEGATIVE FILM :
FOR: Ilford HP 5 + film
1. Bring a two reel stainless steel tank, two good reels, a large lid and the appropriate cap for that lid into one of the small loading rooms. Also make sure you have a scissors with you in that room.
2. Make sure the room is light-tight and that you always keep your body between the door and the film.
3. Follow the oral instructions for loading the film onto the reel and cutting it from the cassette.
4. If developing only one roll & you have a 2-reel tank, insert the reel with the film on it into the tank first then an empty reel on top. Put the large lid securely on the tank before turning on the light and exiting.
CHEMICAL STEPS: 15-16 oz of solution in the tank for EACH STEP.
1. THE DEVELOPER: Ilford ID-11:

After pouring in the developer, cap and agitate continuously for
30 secs; then every 30 secs thereafter, agitate for 5 secs at a time. Pour out in the sink (through the
small cap) as time runs out.
2. STOP BATH: Use full strength, undiluted, for 30 secs with continuous agitation.
DUMP
OUT INTO THE SINK; DO NOT SAVE.
3. FIXER (HYPO) : Ilford Rapid Fixing Agent. Use full strength with nearly continuous but gentle agitation for 2 -3 minutes. SAVE - pour back in the 5 gal. container.
4. 1st WASH : Place the tank under strong running water (with the large lid OFF) at approximately the same temperature as the developer for 1 minute.
5. FIXER REMOVER (HYPO CLEAR): Use full strength for 2 - 3 minutess. Agitate regularly, as in the developer.
6. Final Rinse - same as 1st rinse - for 4 to 5 minutes.
7. Photo Flo - use full
strength. Pour in enough to cover
the reel (s) with film. Let sit -
no agitation - for 30 - 60 secs. Dump out over hands into sink.
8. Squeegee between fingers and hang to dry in cabinet. Approximate Drying Time: 1 - 2 hours.
Then cut your roll into strips of 5 negatives/strip and place
in the plastic sleeves provided.
Be very careful with the film.
Never touch the image area itself, either the base or the emulsion. The film is easily scratched and
susceptible to dust!!
