The 2009-2010 academic year is fast approaching at Spring Hill College.

With challenges in the financial, technological, and educational areas, colleges and universities are bracing for a roller coaster year. What’s on the nation’s mind:

* Fundraising continues to be a challenge across the nation - is the worst over?
* Is the economy changing how students view their semester loads? Three year plan? Five year plan? And what’s ahead for this year’s graduates?
* Bringing mobile technology into the classroom - does it enhance learning opportunities or just distract?

Closer to home, we’re preparing to continue our assessment program for senior and incoming freshmen, with proficiency-, service-, and satisifaction-based surveys.
