So, who is Tracey Childs?
I am a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, and a teacher among other things. I am originally from Montgomery, Alabama and moved to the “loveliest village on the plains” in 1995 where I pursued both my undergraduate and graduate degrees at Auburn University. I began working in the Student Affairs Division at Spring Hill College in 2001 and married Andy, my soul mate, in the spring of 2002. I became mommy to sassy Katelyn Michele in 2005 and decided to stay at home full-time. In the spring of 2007 I returned to Badger Country as an adjunct in the English department. And this fall, I am beginning a new career at Spring Hill as the Academic Student Advocate. I’ll be working with first generation college students as well as helping to create a new learning center.
My husband works with computers everyday, so I should have more experience with technology. I am not afraid, however, to admit that I am a novice at blogging and chatting in “real time.” I hope you will be patient with me as I embark upon this journey.
