About me
I was born and raised in New Albany, Indiana, which is right across the Ohio River from Louisville, Kentucky (we call the area “Kentuckiana”). I am Assistant Professor of Political Science and Director of International Studies at Spring Hill.
I’ve authored or co-authored three books, numerous articles, and done many invited presentations on Latin American politics and international relations. I hold a Ph.D. and M.A. in International Relations from the University of Miami (FL) and an M.A. in Spanish from the University of Louisville.
I’m married to a wonderful woman, Dora, and we have two children–Trevor and Erika.
