Dr. Carol Harrison is the founding chair of the Division of Nursing and is entering her eighth year in this position. She has taught Introduction to Professional Nursing and Health, Foundations of Nursing Care, Senior Seminar I and II, and the Practicum while at SHC. She has fifteen years experience in healthcare leadership roles as CEO, CNO and Director of Clinical Services. Jacquelin Laraway is a first-year Instructor teaching NUR 301 Health Assessment, NUR 330 Adult I, and NUR 302 Pharmacology. She also acts as clinical instructor for NUR 420 Adult II, as well as assistant faculty for NUR 201 Nutrition and NUR 300 Foundations. As well, she will coordinate the online version of NUR 301 Health Assessment (bridge course). She received a B.A. from the University of South Alabama in Psychology in 1989. She then completed her B.S.N. at the University of Mobile in 1991. In 1996, she obtained the Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of South Alabama, completing both the Clinical Nurse Specialist and Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner tracts. |
