Quizzes
and Assignments:
(25%) a
brief quiz will be given each class meeting (except exam days) covering the
preceding lecture and associated reading assignments.
Keeping up with the material should enable you to improve your final
grade by at least one letter. In
addition, a number of assignments will be given.
Examinations:
(75%) There will be four, one hour exams, worth 100 points each. Exam questions will be straight-forward, short answer, and
are intended to directly examine the students knowledge of the material.
The
final grade will be determined by the total number of points earned during the
semester. No
extra credit.
