The Division of Business seeks to prepare undergraduate and graduate students for successful leadership positions in small and large businesses in the private sector, and for positions in public and non-profit organizations. Its goal is to provide professional business education in an environment of respect for the importance of both Jesuit ideals and the liberal arts tradition. -Mission Statement
The Division of Business is housed in Yenni Hall on the campus. The building is a completely rebuilt historic structure containing the latest in educational technology. It comprises the north side of the newly landscaped Yenni Yard and is a focal point of campus life.
The Division offers degrees in Accounting, Management, Marketing, Computer These concentrations combine an intensive business curriculum with a liberal arts base to help students develop critical thinking skills. Information Systems, International Business, and Finance/Economics
Spring Hill business graduates are exceptionally well trained to deal with the issues that they will face in today’s changing, dynamic, global environment. Students are highly competitive compared to other institutions. Spring Hill business students have scored at or above the 84th percentile in a national, comprehensive business examination. In addition, Accounting graduates historically perform above the national average on the CPA exam. MBA students have scored above the 90th percentile on a national MBA examination.
- The Division of Business is nationally accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs. The Division also hosts both the national honor society Delta Mu Delta for business majors, awarding membership to those students with cumulative GPA’s of 3.7 or better, and the national economics honor society, ODE, membership by invitation.
